Sample Public Works Installations

The use of HA5 is one of the fastest growing trends for agencies as an alternative to slurry and chip seals on local roads. HA5 is the only preservation treatment currently meeting the American Public Works Association's (APWA) specification for a High Density Mineral Bond.

From the high temperatures found in the extreme desert climates to regions experiencing colder temperatures, HA5 effectively extends pavement life. This video clip shows a sample of public works projects in Utah's desert region and northern cities.

Sample Private Community (HOA) Installations

Proactive private communities (HOAs) are trending away from the use of seal coats due to the much higher return on investment and longer lasting performance of HA5 (categorized as High Density Mineral Bond). HA5 enables communities to lower the life-cycle costs of pavement assets and reduce the amount of road closures as HA5 installations tend to last about 2x longer than seal coat applications.

HA5 is a problem solver for HOAs as private communities tend to be more proactive with pavement maintenance with the purpose of avoiding the enormous costs and special assessments associated with pavement replacement if asphalt is left to deteriorate and fail.

Sample Commercial Installations

Successful businesses are always seeking ways to lower the life-cycle costs of assets pertinent to their operations. The use of HA5 supports this mandate as a more durable preservation treatment. A side benefit gained from HA5 installations is the aesthetic appeal that adds to the attractiveness of a property.
